They are priority problems.
The Prioritized Leader: put what matters most in the right order.
1. Purpose: Establish the compass.
Purpose determines whom and what you serve. For a leader following Jesus, it begins with how your life and organization serve God's purposes.
2. People: Purpose is lived through people.
The people you lead are entrusted to your care. When you serve your people, they will serve your purpose.
3. Pace: Lead with sustainable rhythm.
Pace is the rhythm at which you and your organization can faithfully fulfill your purpose. Your pace affects everyone around you.
4. Perception: Create margin to see clearly.
Margin creates the capacity to notice what is happening, understand what it means and respond with wisdom.
5. Profit: Fruit to steward.
Profit sustains the work and multiplies its impact. God is the owner. We are the stewards.
Purpose is the most significant priority. Profit is critically important. Both matter, and so does their order. When profit quietly climbs to the top, pace gets sacrificed to feed it. When purpose goes fuzzy, urgency fills the vacuum.
