This isn't a test of whether you're a good Christian. And there is no passing score.

I created it because I know how easy it is to sincerely love Jesus, do good things, and still keep parts of my life under my control.

I've burned ships before—and discovered how easily I can start building new ones.

So don't rush through these questions. Don't answer with what you believe theologically. Answer according to how you are actually living.

The goal isn't guilt. It's awareness.

Ask the Holy Spirit to search you. Then answer honestly.

For every question, answer in one of three ways:

OPEN-HANDED —  I can honestly say this area is surrendered right now.
IN TENSION —  I want to surrender this, but I can feel fear, resistance, or competing desires.
HOLDING ON — I know I am protecting, controlling, delaying, or withholding something here. 

1. When I make important plans for my life, work, or future, how willing am I to let Jesus interrupt, redirect, or completely change them—even when I deeply want a different outcome? 
2. How willing am I to reorder my schedule, habits, and pace so that my relationship with Jesus is actually first—not merely important? 
3. How willing am I to release control over what I call “mine”—my business, money, family, time, influence, reputation, and future—and treat it as something God has entrusted to me? 
4. How willing am I to obey Jesus when obedience could cost me comfort, security, money, opportunity, approval, or reputation? 
5. When I already know the next faithful step, how willing am I to take it without waiting for safer circumstances, more certainty, or a backup plan? 
6. How willing am I to let Jesus have the same authority over who I am at home, at work, in private, and in public—even where that exposes something that needs to change? 
7. How willing am I to let Jesus redefine success for me—even if faithfulness leads to less growth, recognition, wealth, influence, or control than I hoped for? 
8. How willing am I to invest in the people God has entrusted to me for who they are becoming—not merely for what they can produce for me or the organization—even when it costs me time, convenience, or control? 
9. If Jesus showed me that something I depend on for security—a lifestyle, title, possession, relationship, plan, achievement, or backup option—had become a place of self-dependence, how willing would I be to release it? 
10. If Jesus asked me to go somewhere, give something up, or do something I would never choose for myself, how willing am I to say, “Here I am. Send me”—wherever He leads, whatever He asks, whatever it costs?

Look back over your answers.
Where did you choose IN TENSION or HOLDING ON?
More importantly: which question created the strongest reaction in you? Which one made you uncomfortable, defensive, anxious, or tempted to explain yourself?

Start there.
You don't need to fix ten things today. You need to become honest about one.
